👈 Bloomberg: Marco Rubio, the U.S. secretary of state, apparently is considering the possibility of leaving the Trump administration, even as Republicans suffered a major defeat in the midterm elections.

It has been reported that Rubio has discussed with White House officials the possibility of resigning, but he has not made a decision yet.

The State Department has strongly rejected the report and called it “completely fabricated news.”

Leaving the previous administration before January could allow Trump to appoint a successor for him before Democrats take over the Senate.
