🔻Bloomberg: Aramco will not be able to supply oil to its two European customers next month

Bloomberg news agency, citing informed sources, reported that Saudi Arabia’s oil company, Aramco, has told at least two of its European customers that they will not receive crude oil next month.

European customers typically receive Saudi Arabian crude oil under contracts with a fixed term to ensure continuous supply.

In this way, European countries will have to look for alternative sources.

On Tuesday, several oil and security sources told Reuters that two pumping stations of Saudi Arabia’s strategic East-West pipeline have been damaged in last week’s attack, and no specific timeline has yet been set for their full repair.

Management of this pipeline, which is about 1,200 kilometers long and runs across the Arabian Peninsula, and plays an important role in transferring oil without passing through the Strait of Hormuz, is handled by Aramco.

Saudi officials previously said that the pipeline, following a drone attack from Iraqi soil, has currently been taken offline.
