Based on preliminary results of Israel’s parliamentary election, with 85.6% of votes counted, none of the pro- and anti-Benjamin Netanyahu coalitions has reached a parliamentary majority.

Only the votes of the two ballot system remain for counting. These votes belong to people such as soldiers, diplomats, and hospitalized patients who cannot vote in their designated electoral districts.

The Central Elections Committee of Israel announced that in this year’s election, between 430,000 and 480,000 votes were cast using the two ballot mechanism.
