🔸 Based on images shared on social media, a group of students from the Allameh Tabataba’i University held a gathering at the university’s main campus on Monday, 6 Mehr.
🔸 In addition to protesting the increase in tuition for night courses and additional terms, as well as the state of food and provisions in the dormitories, the protesters also voiced objections to issues related to compulsory veiling.
🔸 At this gathering, the students expressed their opposition to compulsory veiling with the slogan “Forced labor, unemployment, women’s compulsory veiling,” and with the slogan “Imprisoned student, must be freed,” called for the release of detained students.
🔸 “No to barracks, no to business enterprises—hail to the university” and “University president, accountable—accountable” were among the other slogans reported at this gathering.
