Bahrain’s foreign minister, in a speech at the United Nations, said that the countries along the Persian Gulf coastline and Jordan have endured nearly 7,000 attacks by the Islamic Republic, including 1,700 ballistic missiles, 80 cruise missiles, and 5,220 drones.

Abdul Latif bin Rashid Al Zayani said these attacks targeted civilian facilities, residential areas, ports, airports, and energy facilities, and violated international law and the UN Charter.

The Bahraini foreign minister also referred to the ruling regime in Iran’s disruption in the Strait of Hormuz and said that the Islamic Republic targeted 72 ships, resulting in the deaths of 22 crew members.

He rejected any imposition of restrictions, permits, or fees on shipping in the Strait of Hormuz.
