🔶 Are private accounts of visa applicants under the spotlight in the U.S.?

According to the news website Daily Signal, the Trump administration, the U.S. president, is considering a proposal under which the scope of reviewing the activities of applicants for visas to this country on social networks will be expanded to more groups; an action which, if implemented, could create new requirements for applicants for some types of visas.

Citing one of the internal documents of the U.S. State Department, Daily Signal writes that the Trump administration is working to expand the scope of reviewing visa applicants’ activities on social media to more groups, including foreign journalists.
