Alliance against a Nuclear Iran wrote: “The U.S. maritime blockade has kept tankers carrying the flag of the Islamic Republic of Iran away from ports in Iran, and at least 20 empty tankers have, after ship-to-ship transfer of Iranian oil in Southeast Asia, anchored near Sri Lanka.”

Alliance against a Nuclear Iran said that it has tracked 26 other tankers carrying the flag of the Islamic Republic in the Singapore Strait and that they are expected to carry out ship-to-ship transfers at an anchorage near Malaysia.
