Ali Hossein Ghazizadeh, a member of Iran International’s editorial board, said that following the failure to seriously influence the transfer of oil from the Strait of Hormuz, the Islamic Republic will expand the scope of attacks to areas outside the strait and likely oil installations.
According to him, Tehran’s goal is to raise the price of oil and increase pressure on oil-exporting countries and oil buyers, and the military reactions by the United States so far have been unable to eliminate this threat in a sustained way.
