According to reports, Branch Two of the Revolutionary Court in Qazvin sentenced “Shaghayegh Afshar Najafi,” a photographer and an 18-year-old student, to 9 years of ta’azir imprisonment and additional penalties.

If the sentence issued by the appeals court is confirmed with the application of Article 134 of the Islamic Penal Code, the harsher punishment—namely, five years of imprisonment—will be applicable to this student.
