According to information provided by an informed source to Iran International, Khadijeh (Shadi) Shadman, one of the detainees from December 2025, has been sentenced by Branch 28 of the Tehran Revolutionary Court to eight years of punitive imprisonment, which—under Article 134—would be five years for her to serve.

Based on this information, Shadman, who is the only caregiver of her 9-year-old daughter, has not been granted leave even once since her arrest, despite repeated requests; while her child, after her mother’s arrest, has been moved among relatives and is living in a critical and uncertain situation.

Some human rights activists, expressing concern about the situation of this imprisoned mother and her young daughter, have called for urgent attention to the case and for granting her leave.
