Abbas Araqchi, the Foreign Minister of the Islamic Republic, announced on Tuesday, 31 Shahrivar, about a trip to New York to take part in the UN General Assembly, saying that the main goal is to be present at a major international podium to defend the rights and interests of the Islamic Republic.

The Foreign Minister of the Islamic Republic also said that the UN podium would become a place to express the “oppression” of Ali Khamenei.

Araqchi added: “Some countries consider it their right to do whatever they want and do not care about any international institution, any international law, or even any collective human conscience, and they grant immunity to themselves and to their satellites.”

He also said: “No trust in an organization that is influenced by these countries will remain. Therefore, the discussion of restoring trust is an important matter and it creates an opportunity to speak with the world about how trust in the United Nations has been lost and how it can be restored.”
