A video released on social media shows that detained protester Hadi Abbasiān says: “I have objections and I won’t back down from what I say. Later, don’t say that I was Israeli or a terrorist. I’m not afraid and I have a life in me that I’ll put on the table too.” Based on the latest information received by Iran International, Hadi Abbasiān, 38, one of those detained in the National Revolution in Shirvan, has been sentenced to death on the charge of “rebellion” (“baghy”). In the course of the proceedings on his case, his activities on Instagram and the publication of videos about protests, among other things, have been cited against him.
