A source close to Alireza Reisi’s family told Iran International that after his execution, security officers transferred his father, with a blindfold, for the burial and returned him without showing him the exact burial location.

According to the source, Reisi’s father, along with two other people, was on the way for about two hours, without a mobile phone and with a blindfold. The burial was carried out in a desert area around Isfahan, and no indication of the precise location of the grave was provided to the family.

Security officials, citing concerns about relatives gathering, said they will announce the burial location later.

In the deceased search system, the burial location of Alireza Reisi has been recorded as “Natanz”; however, his family still does not know exactly where his body was laid to rest.
