A citizen, by sending a video to Iran International, showed pollution caused by the activities of the Durud cement plant and said that this production facility constantly pollutes the city.

The General Department of Environmental Protection in Lorestan, last Shahrivar, confirmed that the Durud cement plant is one of the outdated units whose pollution intensity in Phase 3 has increased. This plant produces about 900,000 tons per year.
