2 appellate judges appointed by Obama and Biden ruled last night against the military center urgently needed for the national security of Washington, DC and for our own country.

The very respected judge, Naomi Rao, in a dissenting opinion with a strong tone, raised the following key points:

“This is an obvious abuse of authority... First, the district court lacked jurisdiction to hear this case, because this trust has no legal standing to stop construction at the White House... The balance of interests decisively favors the government. The district court chose a passerby’s aesthetic dissatisfaction over the government’s security interests in the ballroom and the security risks posed by leaving an active construction site in the President’s home and office... These errors in fair judgment require the issuance of a stay. The district court took control over overseeing construction at the White House, and my colleagues endorsed this judicial overreach... Since this stay order is outside the proper scope of federal courts’ jurisdiction, construction must proceed.”

The implementation of this decision has been paused for a time and is not being carried out for now. We will immediately appeal to the Supreme Court of the United States. The military and the Secret Service consider this dreadful, politically motivated, unlawful ruling a threat to our nation’s national security, because the entire complex is being built to protect our country as well as all future presidents. This integrated project includes bomb shelters, hospitals and advanced medical facilities, security partitions, facilities, military super-secret structures and equipment, missile-resistant steel for protection, columns, ceilings and beams, missile- and drone-resistant ceilings and roofs, military-standard ventilation, and bulletproof, anti-ballistic and explosion-resistant glass. All of these are connected as one large, costly and highly complex unit that is vital for the national security and military operations of the United States of America!

The appellate court’s decision is completely wrong on the critical issue of “legal jurisdiction,” because the plaintiff has no legal standing; it seriously endangers the lives and well-being of people who work at the White House or will work there in the future—including all future U.S. presidents and their families, as well as the lives of all visitors, such as heads of state and other senior officials, and all Americans who are willing to visit the historic and beautiful executive residence. The appellate court also did not accept that the fully secure and urgently needed ballroom, whose construction is underway ahead of schedule and at a cost lower than the budget, is a gift from President Trump and the great patriots of the United States of America. The entire complex, including the military sections, is largely built, manufactured, and paid for. A large portion of the equipment is already on site or being delivered. Why did they not bring up this case much earlier, before construction began? No costs will be borne by American taxpayers. This unfair decision must be fully overturned by the Supreme Court. Thank you for your deep attention to this matter of national security!
