🔺17 people were killed in Russia’s air attacks on Ukraine; no missiles were intercepted

▪ Ukraine’s air defense said Russia launched 28 missiles, including 24 ballistic missiles, and 115 drones mainly toward Kyiv and the areas around it. At the same time, it was announced that at least 17 people were killed in these overnight attacks.

▪ Based on the same statement, 98 drones were shot down, but none of the missiles were intercepted.

▪ Volodymyr Zelensky wrote on X: “Anti-ballistic interceptors are what could have saved the lives of those killed today.” He added that delays in delivering anti-ballistic systems lead to such terrible destruction.

▪ Residential areas as well as warehouses and large production facilities of Ukraine’s largest retailer, Epicenter K, and the postal company Nova Poshta were targeted.
