Turkey’s ruling coalition submits a bill to parliament that paves the way for the dissolution of the Kurdistan Workers’ Party and the return of its thousands of former members.

Based on reports from Turkish state media and a statement by a party leader, the bill will be submitted to parliament on Wednesday.

Abdullah Güler, head of the parliamentary group of the Justice and Development Party, confirmed the submission of the bill on the same day.

The bill focuses on managing the return of PKK fighters and civilians from their hideouts in northern Iraq and shows how they pass through the judicial system and are integrated into society.

Representatives are expected to approve this legal framework within the same week.
