The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) and the army of the Islamic Republic claimed that positions belonging to the United States in Kuwait were targeted in attacks during the early hours of Tuesday, 30 Tir.
In a statement, the Public Relations of the army of the Islamic Republic claimed that administrative buildings and direction-finding antennas at Al Arfijan base, the group parking area for helicopters at Al Adairi camp, and the building housing US army forces at Ahmad Al Jaber base in Kuwait were targeted by drone attacks.
The IRGC, in a separate statement, also claimed that its strikes targeted the United States’ early warning radar systems and missile defense, as well as the Patriot air defense system and the air defense satellite communications at Ahmad Al Jaber base in Kuwait.
The IRGC also claimed an attack on a hangar shed for MQ9 drones at Ali Al Salem base in Kuwait, and that several drones in this hangar were damaged.
