🔻Who is the highest-paid political leader in the world, and how much does Iran’s president get paid?

🔻The salaries of political leaders around the world have always been a subject of debate. Now, following the Singapore government’s decision to increase the pay of Lawrence Wong, the world’s highest-paid head of government, this issue has returned to the center of attention. In Iran, however, because there is no official data, estimates of the president’s salary and the members of the government are more often based on the officials’ own statements and unofficial reports.

The Singapore government has announced that the annual salaries and benefits of ministers and senior officials of this country, including the prime minister, will be increased.

Accordingly, Lawrence Wong’s annual salary and benefits will increase by S$1.4 million Singapore dollars. He said that he will allocate this increase to charitable organizations over the next five years.

The prime minister of Singapore currently receives S$2.2 million per year, and with this plan, his income will increase by more than 60% to S$3.6 million, equivalent to about US$2.8 million.
