🔶 قالیباف: Any U.S. aggression will be met with a heavier response
The Speaker of the Islamic Consultative Assembly, on Sunday, September 6 (Shahrivar 15), in his pre-agenda address in a virtual session of the Islamic Consultative Assembly, made claims about the situation of clashes with the United States and said there would be a “change in the rules of the game” and that “harder military responses” may follow.
Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf, referring to the anniversary of Shahrivar 17, 1357 (September 17, 1978), described the current situation as a “total war” and claimed that the armed forces of the Islamic Republic have delivered “devastating blows” to U.S. bases.
He also leveled accusations against U.S. officials, claiming that Washington is using the “desperation” over artificial intelligence technology to produce fabricated images and videos from the battlefield.
Ghalibaf warned that “the era of proportionate responses has come to an end, and from now on any action against the security and interests of Iran will be met with a faster, heavier, and more painful response.”
In another part of his remarks, the Speaker of the Islamic Consultative Assembly acknowledged severe economic crises within the country and said currency fluctuations, inflation, unemployment, and livelihood problems are the society’s core challenges.
