The Saudi Crown Prince, in remarks to the country’s Shura Council, stressed that the Houthi rebels have chosen “chaos and destruction,” and rejected any compromise with this group.

Mohammed bin Salman emphasized that Saudi Arabia will not hesitate to respond decisively to any threat or attack that targets security or seeks to undermine it.

He also referred to the defensive pact of Mecca between Turkey, Pakistan, and Saudi Arabia, and reminded that this alliance reflects the resolve of Saudi leadership to “strengthen regional stability, protect the region from the consequences of tensions and conflicts, and coordinate efforts.”

Bin Salman stressed that his country is doing everything possible to reduce tensions and support diplomatic solutions, without making any compromise regarding the preservation of its own security.
