🔶 Baghaei: Europe cannot shirk responsibility for complicity with the United States in the war

Ismail Baghaei, the spokesperson of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic, wrote in a post on the X network in response to statements by Mark Rutte, NATO’s secretary general, regarding the participation of European countries in the war by the United States against the Islamic Republic, that “Mark Rutte’s repeated acknowledgments of the participation of European countries” in the attack on Iran confirm that Europe “has not been neutral in this aggressive war.”

Baghaei added that these countries “made their territory, bases, and infrastructure in Europe available” for the military attack by the United States and Israel, and “cannot evade responsibility for their complicity and also the consequences arising from it.”

He also, in this message, accused the NATO secretary general of “flattery, flattery, and smooth talk” in front of the United States and claimed that this will not make NATO appear to the United States as an effective organization.
