🔶 Germany’s first jamming-satellite launches from 2027
Germany’s WDR and NDR public broadcast networks, as well as the Zooddeutsche (SZ) newspaper, have reported—based on their own research findings—on the efforts of the country’s army to expand its military capabilities in space.
Friedrich Merz, Germany’s chancellor, who had previously said that his country must become a space power, recently stated at the largest air and space industry exhibition in the world in Berlin: “Space is not only vital for our security, but is also making up an ever-larger share of our economic space.”
