🔺University professors warn of a strike from the start of Mehr and not showing up for classes

▪The Iranian University Professors’ Professional Association warned that if the law on the restoration/repair of the pay of faculty members is not fully implemented by the end of Shahrivar, it asks professors to suspend their university activities starting from the beginning of Mehr.

▪Based on the statement, the suspension includes educational, research, administrative, and advisory areas, and will continue until the law is implemented “fully and unconditionally.”

▪The statement says that after two years had passed through the expert and legal stages, the faculty members had expected that implementation of the law would reduce some of their livelihood problems.

▪However, with nearly six months having passed since the year ۱۴۰۵, the law still has not been fully implemented.
