🔺The United States has sanctioned dozens of companies and entities linked to the Islamic Republic of Iran’s aviation sector

▪ The Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) of the U.S. Department of the Treasury, as part of “Operation Economic Expulsion,” sanctioned 36 entities, including 27 airlines of the Islamic Republic of Iran, for supporting Iran’s aviation sector—which the Iranian government uses to transport weapons, personnel, and unlawful shipments.
