Benjamin Netanyahu, prime minister of Israel, once again rejected a report by the Israeli newspaper Haaretz about receiving a warning from the UAE’s president before the attack on 15 Mehr 1402 and said he has instructed his lawyers to file a complaint against this newspaper and its journalist, Shlomi Eldar.
On X, he emphasized that no contact had taken place between him and Mohamed bin Zayed from the beginning of Shahrivar 1402 until the time of the attack.
Netanyahu said such contact would have left clear evidence that his prime minister’s office team had not found.
He added: “This vile accusation comes with clear political timing, within the framework of the left’s election campaign, and more false slanders of this kind will follow.”
Netanyahu once again claimed that if Israel’s security chiefs had warned him hours before the attack, “the horrific massacre could have been prevented.”
