🔶 Axios: Trump will meet with leaders of Gulf Arab countries next week

According to the Axios website, U.S. President Donald Trump will meet next week with leaders of Arab countries in the Persian Gulf region.

The news site, citing three informed sources, reported that the meeting will take place next Tuesday, September 22 (the first of Mehr), on the sidelines of the United Nations General Assembly in New York, and its main topic will be the next steps in the war against the Islamic Republic.

As Axios wrote, the main focus of the meeting will be the United States’ proposals for managing affairs after the end of the war. The Trump administration is working on drafting a plan for the post-war period, which is likely to be finalized after the U.S. midterm elections in November.

On Wednesday, September 16 (Mehr 25), Trump expressed hope regarding Iran’s war nearing its final stages and once again claimed that the Islamic Republic “wants a deal” with the United States, and that Washington has heard this “directly” from Tehran.
