🔻Two construction workers were rescued from inside a tunnel 9 days after Nepal’s deadly flood, which led to the deaths of more than 1,200 people.
Rescue forces saved the two people who were working in the tunnel of Nepal’s Trishuli hydropower plant when the incident occurred.
It is reported that at least 39 other people are trapped inside this tunnel, and rescue teams are still trying to save them.
A senior official of Nepal’s electricity authority who was present at the rescue site told the BBC that rescuers are delivering oxygen to the two rescued individuals.
One of the people who was rescued is now reported to be in “critical” condition.
