Gloria Steinem, a journalist, writer, and one of the most influential figures in the women’s liberation movement in the United States, has died at the age of 92. The Gloria Steinem Foundation announced that she passed away on Wednesday “peacefully” at her home in New York City, surrounded by her family members and close ones.
