🔻 A video shared on social media shows a couple in the Philippines getting married in a church despite flooding reaching their knees.

Lian Galang and Gilbert Gibo Chiquo crossed through the flood to get married inside a building in Hagunoy, a coastal town in the north of Manila. The church used a portable loudspeaker because of a power outage.

According to local reports, the couple had been advised to postpone their wedding day, but they went ahead with the ceremony without regard to that advice.

Severe seasonal monsoon rains in the area, beyond the usual level, caused landslides and flash floods, killing 34 people.
