🔹From Karaj: For six days now, there’s nothing left of the salary I received, and for months the situation has been like this. To get through the rest of the days of the month, we’re selling household items.

🔹As a result of repeated power outages, the elevator in our building burned out and caused 20 million tomans in damages. We went to the electricity office to get the compensation, and they said it doesn’t apply to us because the elevator is considered a luxury item!

🔹Plastic slippers in the market have become 500,000 toman, equivalent to half a million tomans; we don’t even have money anymore to live.

🔹Some publishers put the prices of books on the covers with a QR code and no longer write the price directly, so that whenever they want, they can raise the prices. In Iran, prices increase by the second, and we’re being crushed under heavy underpricing and inflation.

🔹The OK Exchange exchange, which operates under the Foundation of Elites of the office of the Presidency, has completely closed rial withdrawals, and transfers are also limited to only 50 Tether per week. Wherever we file complaints, nobody answers.

🔹The gifted students (Tizhooshans) high school in Khorramabad told us they don’t have the permission to bring a male teacher. Stress about the entrance exam and uncertainty is one thing, and these laws are another—like from the era of the Hijri centuries.

🔹At 38 years old, I became the oldest person in the world. I don’t even have patience with myself anymore. After 20 years of work experience at the oil company, since Nowruz I’ve been unemployed. I’m getting depression. Why doesn’t anyone come to help us? Honestly, we’re exhausted.

🔹From Tehran: The electricity bill for Mordad was 1,450,000 tomans. In Shahrivar it came to 4,500,000 tomans—meaning a threefold increase!
