I had a very good conversation with the new Prime Minister of Britain, Andy Barham. We discussed many topics, including outstanding relations that we have had with Britain.

In the not-too-distant future, we will have a meeting to examine matters of mutual interest. The prime minister has a great task ahead, but he will be able to do it, and of course the United States of America will be there to help him! We discussed North Sea oil, trade, the military alliance, mine-clearing in the Strait of Hormuz, and many other topics. This was an interesting call and it went very well.

I wished Prime Minister Barham success and, of course, divine grace!
