🔶 East Azerbaijan governorate reports “one person killed” in the U.S. attack on a military area in Tabriz

The General Directorate of Crisis Management of the East Azerbaijan governorate announced that during a U.S. attack early Monday morning, in a military area in the southwest of the city of Tabriz, “one person was killed and several others” were injured. According to this agency, the sound of an explosion heard in Tabriz was related to this attack, which occurred at around 2:35 a.m.

The statement did not specify whether the deceased person or the injured were members of the armed forces or civilians.

The organization had previously claimed that “no citizen” was killed or injured in the attack, and that rescue and military forces had immediately arrived at the scene.

Iranian domestic media, including IRIB, had reported that in the early hours of Monday, the sounds of three explosions were heard in Tabriz.
