🔺Chip Roy: The Islamic Republic is «in the process of being paralyzed»
▪ Texas Republican representative in the U.S. House of Representatives said that maintaining military and economic pressure on the Islamic Republic will, in the long run, benefit Washington despite the rise in fuel costs for American citizens.
▪ Chip Roy said in an interview with Fox News: «They’ve been hurt; they’ve been hurt economically.»
▪ He added that the Islamic Republic is currently exporting only a small portion of its usual oil output and is «in the process of being paralyzed». Roy said Washington’s goal should be three things: preventing the Islamic Republic from acquiring nuclear weapons, limiting terrorist activities, and weakening the Islamic Republic’s military capabilities and oil revenues.
