🔻According to Esteghlal FC, Yassir Asani, the Albanian player for this team, has returned to Iran. This comes despite the fact that Iranian media had previously reported that Asani, by sending an official letter to Esteghlal, unilaterally terminated his contract with the club due to unpaid demands from the previous season, as well as the prepayment for the new season’s contract.
🔹Also, Ali Tajerneya, the managing director’s representative of Esteghlal, in a television interview about the latest situation of the Albanian midfielder of the team, said: “Yassir Asani has not yet registered the termination of his contract with the League Organization. There were differences of opinion with his agent’s manager, which led him to leave Iran.”
🔹Asani was signed on a two-year contract worth $3.3 million, and in case of a complaint to FIFA, Esteghlal faces the risk of being ordered to pay $1.65 million for the second year of his contract.
