Abolfazl Abوترabi, a member of parliament, said that the government of Masoud Pezeshkian, by sending 28 letters to Mojtaba Khamenei, the leader of the Islamic Republic, insisted on negotiations and “threatened” him. Abوترabi said that Qalibaf and Pezeshkian “fell into the negotiation trap,” and added: “You should doubt anyone whose now talking about negotiations.” He also said that if the Islamic Republic could tolerate the war for another two weeks, the United States and Donald Trump, the U.S. president, would have accepted all of the Islamic Republic’s “demands” before the start of the negotiations.
