Saeed Bashirtash, head of the central council of the Seven Aban Front, in an interview with Ali Hasanpour, a reporter for Iran International, said in the conference “Free Iran and the European Union” that, by referring to the role of parties in a project of flourishing and a transition period, it is important to have political organization and structure for the transition from the Islamic Republic and to reach a national government, and that parties can play a role in supporting people during the course of protests.

He added that strengthening parties for the period after the Islamic Republic is also necessary, because establishing democracy based on human rights without political institutions, parties, and elections is not possible.
