Prison security officers in Russia, on Tir 30 (July 21), seized a cat that was being used to smuggle drugs into a prison in Nizhny Novgorod.
According to the Federal Penitentiary Service, the animal had two handmade fabric collars containing prohibited drugs around its neck.
Before the cat entered the facility, prison staff identified it and confiscated the collars. Officials said that a police dog later confirmed the presence of drugs. After the collars were removed, the cat was released unharmed.
