Prince Reza Pahlavi, in a message on the fourth anniversary of the government killing of Mahsa Amini, wrote on X that four years after her killing, the Iranian people are in another stage of the struggle to “reclaim Iran.”

Referencing the killing of a number of protesters, including Nika Shakermi, Sarina Ismailzadeh, Kian Pirfalak, Khodnavar LaJahi, Hamidreza Roohi, and Majidreza Rahnavard, Pahlavi wrote that after Mahsa Amini’s killing, the Islamic Republic targeted other young people as well.

Prince Pahlavi described the uprisings of the years 1396, 1398, 1401, and 1404 as parts of a path that, according to him, has led to the “glorious revolution of the lion and sun.” He stated that the aim of this movement is “to reclaim Iran from the criminal regime that has held our homeland hostage for nearly half a century.”

He also wrote that the current solidarity among opponents of the Islamic Republic “was not formed overnight” and is the result of a long and costly path.

At the end, Prince Reza Pahlavi, honoring the memory of Mahsa Amini and other people killed in the protests, wrote: “We will continue their path to freedom and the reclaiming of Iran.”
