On the twelfth night of the United States’ attacks on Iran, according to the state news agency IRNA, in addition to the deadly explosion at the Shalamcheh border in Khorramshahr, the cities of Ahvaz, Ramshir, Bushehr, Dashti, Kiar, Jask, Kangan, and Islamabad-e Gharb were targeted, and the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps once again attacked targets in Kuwait, Bahrain, and Jordan.

The Shalamcheh border crossing is extremely busy and heavily trafficked during a time period close to Arbaeen, and it has not yet been officially announced what the aim of the attack was.
