The Kuwaiti Foreign Ministry, in a statement, condemned the Houthi attack on a ship belonging to Saudi Arabia in the Red Sea, calling it an “overt violation of international law” and a threat to shipping security, global trade, and energy supplies. The ministry also emphasized its support for Saudi Arabia and called for an immediate halt to these attacks.
At the same time, Saudi Arabia’s Foreign Ministry announced that Shehbaz Sharif, the Prime Minister of Pakistan, in a phone call with Mohammed bin Salman, Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia, condemned the Houthi attack on a ship belonging to Saudi Arabia and the threat to freedom of navigation in the Red Sea. According to the ministry, he also emphasized Pakistan’s “firm and steadfast” support for the security and sovereignty of Saudi Arabia.
