Kremlin: The situation in the Persian Gulf has entered a destructive phase

Dmitry Peskov, Kremlin spokesperson, said that Americans currently do not have the opportunity to focus on resolving the Ukraine issue.

He added that Russia is receiving signals from the United States that, after freeing themselves from their problems, they are ready to continue their mediation efforts in Ukraine.

Peskov emphasized that Moscow has not sent any message through Aleksandar Vučić, President of Serbia, who traveled to Kyiv, to Vladimir Zelensky.

The Kremlin spokesperson also said that the Kremlin is closely monitoring U.S. statements about new anti-Russian sanctions, recording them and analyzing them.
