The Joint Maritime Information Center said in its latest report that, based on independent data, from the 12th to the 14th of Shahrivar, no oil tanker has transited through the Strait of Hormuz without U.S. assistance. During the same period, U.S. data indicates 59 ship transits with assistance from this country.

The center assessed the level of threat in the Strait of Hormuz as “severe,” and wrote that the activities of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, including the flights of drones, monitoring of commercial vessels, and radio communications with them, continue. Some ships may also receive messages to change their course toward the northern route under Iranian control.

According to this report, the naval blockade of Iran’s ports by the United States remains in place, and entry or exit without authorization may lead to interception or use of force. Neutral ships are allowed to transit, but they may be confronted with inspections by U.S. forces.
