🔶 IRGC: We Targeted a U.S. Command Center in Syria

According to Iranian media reports, the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) announced on Friday, 26 Tir (17 July) that in response to the killing of Iranian forces in Iranshahr, it had targeted a special operations command center of the United States in the “Tanf” region of Syria.

The IRGC claimed that in this attack it destroyed a radar system, several helicopters, and a number of American forces. Reuters, the news agency that published the report, wrote that it has not been able to independently verify the IRGC’s claim that it attacked Syria so far.

The IRGC also announced that Iran still maintains full control of the Strait of Hormuz and that it will not allow any oil or gas shipment from this waterway to be exported as long as U.S. attacks continue.
