🔻Hojjat Karimi, CEO of Tractor, in a program on the state television of the Islamic Republic of Iran, said about the insults by Khodadad Azizi after the match against Gol Gohar: “If Khodadad Azizi gave insults, something must have happened; definitely someone did something. An act was carried out, and a reaction was seen.”

🔹He said: “During the match, a player from Gol Gohar insulted the referee, and Khodadad told the referee that the player had insulted you. But instead of paying attention, the referee gave Khodadad first a yellow card and then a red card. The referee should have gathered it. Gol Gohar was pushing the team out to win; that same incident also includes a sending off. There are also refereeing scenes. The incidents that happen one after another put pressure on the team.”

🔹The Tractor CEO, referring to the physical arrangement of the two teams’ dressing rooms in the Sahand Stadium, which were built facing each other, said: “These incidents caused Alireza Alishah, after the match in the dressing room, to disrespect Khodadad Azizi. Alishah did so with a loud voice, and this happened, and Khodadad couldn’t (control himself).”
