🔶 CENTCOM ends the 13th night of attacks on the Islamic Republic’s military positions

The U.S. Central Command, CENTCOM, announced in a post on the X network (formerly Twitter) that at 4:30 a.m. on Friday, July 24 (2 Mordad), it had “successfully” brought to an end the 13th consecutive night of attacks on the Islamic Republic’s military targets.

According to CENTCOM’s statement, the military command centers, drone storage locations, communications networks, coastal surveillance sites, and the Islamic Republic’s naval capabilities were targeted, as in the previous nights. The U.S. Central Command said the purpose of these attacks was to further reduce threats posed by the Islamic Republic to non-military mariners and commercial vessels that intend to transit the Strait of Hormuz.

CENTCOM also said that despite the recent attacks by the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, the Strait of Hormuz remains open for transit and commercial ships with support from the U.S. Army continue to travel freely through this international waterway.

At the end of its post, the U.S. Central Command noted that more than 50,000 U.S. military personnel are currently engaged in activities across the Middle East.
