Ata Mahmoud, an international relations expert, with reference to the expansion of U.S. attacks from the southern coasts of Iran to inland cities, told Iran International that Washington is pursuing two parallel strategies: first, weakening the Islamic Republic’s missile, logistical, and military capabilities; and second, increasing economic pressure to force Tehran to change its behavior.
