🔶 قالیباف: We demand the full implementation of the understandings reached with power Mohammad-Baqer Qalibaf, speaker of the Islamic Consultative Assembly and the senior nuclear negotiator of the Islamic Republic in talks with the United States, said on the sidelines of the presence of foreign delegations at the funeral ceremonies for Ali Khamenei’s body, “We strongly demand the full implementation of the understandings reached.” According to ISNA news agency, he said while speaking with the speaker of Belarus, adding that if the United States and Israel do not carry out their commitments, the Islamic Republic “will resume its proportional actions.” He did not explain what the Iranian government meant by “proportional actions.” The speaker of the Islamic Consultative Assembly also said about the future of the vital Strait of Hormuz: “Regarding the management of the Strait of Hormuz, important issues have been signed in the recent understandings with the United States, because under international laws, the administration of the Strait of Hormuz must be carried out between the two coastal countries of Iran and Oman.” This is while the United States has announced its opposition to such an issue.
