📸 Dubai Flight: From an Axe Attack in the Cabin to the Appearance of Heroes in the Skies

FlyDubai’s flight “FZ 1073”, which on Wednesday, September 30, was traveling from Dubai to Tel Aviv, after a clash between two pilots was forced to make an emergency landing in Saudi Arabia; an incident that has become one of the most controversial aviation events in the Middle East in recent years.

On Saturday, the UAE Attorney General announced that the first officer of this flight, using an axe that was present in the pilots’ cabin, intended to carry out what was described as a “terrorist attack.” According to this statement, he also tried to take control of the aircraft.

The UAE authorities say that during this dispute, the plane experienced severe jolts and the lives of its 174 passengers were put at risk.

Benjamin Netanyahu, the Prime Minister of Israel, on Friday claimed that the first officer had been influenced by the teachings of “Islamic extremist” ideology. However, he did not provide evidence for this claim.
