🔸The UK Maritime Trade Operations Organization announced early on Saturday, the 22nd of Mehr, that a vessel was hit by an “unknown projectile” while passing through the Strait of Hormuz.

🔸The organization, by issuing a security warning, asked ships to exercise caution when transiting the area and to report any suspicious activity.

🔸The UK Maritime Trade Operations Organization also said that currently there is no information available about the crew’s status, the extent of damage done to the vessel, or the possible environmental consequences of this attack, and that the authorities are investigating the incident.

🔸The incident occurred while the Strait of Hormuz has become one of the main centers of tension since the start of the Iran–US and Israel war, and the transit of oil tankers through this waterway with transponders turned on has dropped significantly.
